Trust No One
I always look forward to reading books by first-time authors.Sometimes the books are borderline and immature, but the good ones are exceptionally fresh and exciting.Such is the case with `Anticipation.'
Thrilling!
I read Anticipation in one weekend...needless to say, I was hooked from the get go! Ms. Breneman does an amazing job of leading her reader on a suspenseful adventure full of colorful characters and plot twists. She obviously knows the ins and outs of the justice system and keeps you guessing up to the very end! The romantic storyline is equally enthralling. The main characters are brought to life by Ms. Breneman's nimble attention to the details in life that make us all human: love, excitement, hope, fear and, not least of all, anticipation. I am very much looking forward to her next work!

I love it.
I loved this book. It was well written,and fun to read. I could not put it down. You want them to get together from the first time they meet. I loved Anticipation by Terri Breneman. I really look forward to her next book.

A compeling story

Could've been better
I had to read this book in a college upper level english course. The language is very simple, it is so simple that it is more suitable for high school. But because of so much cursing in the book, which gets old and boring, it is not suitable for high school kids lol. In her novel Brown completely undermines heterosexuality, marriage and family. Every married woman meets her doom once she gets married. Molly's first love Leota who used to be beautiful, looked 40 at 24as Brown described her. It seems that every woman's solvation from doom aka marriage is homosexuality. Just because Brown had an unfortunate encounter with men and didn't enjoy them, it doesn't mean that it applies to every woman. The book is very biased towards heterosexuality and marriage.

A fun summer read
I read this novel because it is referenced in the Educating Rita.The relevance of the main character saying that this book is her favorite escaped me until I read the novel for myself.
Pick It Up
I would of gave it a 5 but I didn't like the ending. This was comedy at it's best. The main character's life - [...] out of carolina - gets worst every chapter. Not much goes in her direction but she tries hard to succeed. She is looking for her true self and where she belongs. Everytime she finds someplace, something happens. She realizes that, that isn't her. Oddly enough she leaves her mark on so many people along the way.

Love comes whenleast expected
In the village of East Quay, Rhode Island, where everyone knows your name and your history, it is difficult to keep secrets.
Wonderfully romantic and lyrical
This author's first novel 'Course of Action' is a favorite so I began reading this novel with admittedly high expectations.By the last page I (along with the 4 women in the novel) were completely satisfied.
Another Winner
Award winning author Gun Brooke has given us another delightful romance with Coffee Sonata. I was so totally immersed in this story that I read it in one sitting.

Not Up to Rad's Usual Standard...

Coming to terms with real life....
is what Chan Brogan finds difficult.Yes, she's had some tragedy in her life.She never lets anybody get close.She rides her bike to relieve stress and her best pal is her brother.

I love women
I had been putting off this book for about 4 years and I finally read it. I was putting it off because I read the first chapter and it was dry. I have to tell you that it gets better down the road. Audre is not just talking about lesbianism, she is talking about being a woman and general. You can get good relationship advice by NOT following what she did in her relationships. I was exposed to lesbianism of 20-30 years ago in this book. It's so different now and for women (of all sexualities and colors) this book is for you.

A strong voice in both African-American women's literature and lesbian literature, Audre Lorde is likely someone as alien to my experience as anyone could possibly be. Well, at least someone who was born and raised in the U.S. At first, I found this biography fascinating, but it began to tire me about halfway through. Just Wonderful
Everytime I read this book, I feel like I have to cry at the end. You just want to hug the characters, and tell them everything will be okay.

Okay for a quick read
I myself work in a juvenille boot camp and found this story very unrealistic and it danced the edge of inappropriateness. First of all, a juvenille with the record such a Grace's would never comply so easily and secondly a youth would never be permitted to stay in a counselor's living space for such a long period of time.
Dynamic! Outstanding!
Graceful "Grace" Waters is an angry and beligerent 17-year-old. Chock full of attitude and bucking authority at every opportunity, she soon finds her smart-mouth landing her in front of the same judge for the umpteenth time.Patience worn thin, the judge sentences Grace to Sapling Hill - a place specifically designed for Grace's brand of attitude.

Great addition to the series
This was a great read. I enjoyed the evolution of the relationships. The core characters become more interesting without betraying their essential elements. This is a fantastic series to read and reread. I can't wait for the 4th to arrive.

A Definite Must Read!
Dr. KT O'Bannon, is a woman at the top of her game. Her life as a surgeon is a dream come true. Often times confident and sometimes brash, she's living life large and in charge. Then the unthinkable happens and KT is suddenly faced with the possiblity of losing the only way of life she knows.
Best in this series
All the books in the Provincetown series are entertaining. But I found the the first two to be very average Radclyffe fare which relied too much on her usual formula and stock characters.

The Flames of Love with a Twist...
This reader was pleasantly surprised with the quality of writing delivered by Gina Dartt in `Unexpected Sparks,' a first-time novel that shows a maturity not often found from first-time authors.Not generally a big fan of mysteries, I thoroughly enjoyed the way the author wove a budding romance with a murder investigation... especially because neither of the protagonists are police detectives.
Fabulous novel - Wonderful romance and endearing characters
One of the best romances I have ever read. Like a breath of fresh air. Here is a writer who knows how to write. You never feel like you are reading a work of fiction. You are immediately engrossed by the first chapter. The words flow together and I wished it didn't have to end. You'll love the characters as if they were your friends.

This book is both really sexy AND has a good plot!
First of all, I should admit that I'm a big fan of reading erotica. Usually, however, I prefer short stories that get right to the "good parts" over full length books. But in Sign on the Line Jaime Clevenger successfully weaves together six or seven sex scenes ranging from pretty darn good to incredibly hot with a fun and compelling plot (it's way more interesting than the back of the book makes it sound). Clevenger's dialogue is particularly witty and had me laughing out loud more than once. The main character of the book is charming and likeable despite (or maybe because of) her playgirl ways, and the ending delightfully resists the predictable. A Tremendous Breath of Fresh Air
What an absolute joy it is to pick up a book from a first-time published author, especially when the book is a good as `Forever Found.'With many new authors, the writing can be immature and somewhat disjointed.However, Meyer delivers a quality of writing one would expect from a seasoned professional and I ever so excited by it.
Tugs at your heart strings
To want to marry your best friend at age 6.And the day you propose, your Dad has had too much to drink and drags you away from your friend's home kicking and screaming.Then moves you away from her.
Heartbreaking Romance that sucks you in from the first chapter ...
... and leaves you with a tear in your eye (in happiness, sadness and finally delight) for the last 60 pages.

Hats Off to Our First Lady!
First Lady was an excellent Chapter 2 to Madam President!This book was a lot of fun and it really showed a true to life version of families today.This book is a very easy and enjoyable read!I hope there will be a third installment for these amazing women!Cooper and Novan are an excellent team and their writing styles just flow together effortlessly.

Beautiful Music!
Love's Melody Lost is one of the most romantic books I have ever read! It is Radclyffe at her best...again! This is a must read and one that I will read again. You will fall in love with these characters instantly. Graham Yardley is strong, very independent, beautiful, and has lost more than her eyesight. Her soul is guarded and her music is gone.
