This collection is just different. Who want to see usual - Perfection is boring
I scanned through this book the other day at Virgin Records and I have to say, I really did like it! I do agree with some other people, about how some of the women weren't exactly attractive, but... isn't that rather shallow minded???? Not everyone in the entire world is beautiful and there are many people out there with wonderful personalities but not the hottest looks. Now, if you were going to buy an issue of Playboy and not find beautiful women and a pair of syllacone implants, THEN I would complain, that is purely for masturbation, I would assume. Oh dear!
I have to agree with the more negative reviews. The cover is indeed beautiful, but the content, with exceptions such as Brian Peterson's work, tends towards high heeled black boots and the burlesque. It seems as though fetish is now the order of the day, with erotic photographers following this very standardized path like sheep. Trouble is, the photographs tend to depersonalize and objectify, which robs them of their erotic quality. If making a statement about the objectification of women is the purpose of much of this work, well OK, but how many artists should it take to make the point?Read more

If you like love and sci-fi, this book has it all!
I read Vol. 2 first and waited impatiently for this book to get back into print. It was well worth the wait. The real story is the relationship between the master and slave, and the fantasy of how love conquers all. I like stories with a happy ending, even if it takes a lot of pain, literally, in this case, to get there. Science fiction erotica at a first class level
Kyle Stone, how I do enjoy his work.This first book in a two book series does an amazing job of engaging us in the main character's life both physically and mentally.The sex is intense and the Ds tough -- just theway I like my erotica.A great choice for anyone who likes men and"BDSM" and science fiction.

One of the best...
I'm quite fond of this type of gay erotica and this is one of the best I have ever read. It's very arousing, interesting and exciting; you won't be disappointed unless your looking for more of a "story".

This book gets right to the filth!
Some authors you're very familiar with, as well as less recongizable names, all do an extremely HOT job of giving us stories that are usually no longer than 4 pages! You "literally" get thrown into the middle of the action with absolutely no setup. It's an incredibly hot approach to the genre...and there's plenty of pig sex for those who just want to get dirty.

A cautionary tale about the darker side of love and sex
For anyone whose thirst is quenched by lusty and rough-and-tumble man-to-man sex, "D.O.C.: Lust Letters" is a must-read for both its heavy-breathing sexual content and ingenious injection of words of caution about the darker side of gay sexual promiscuity. Authors Paul Beckford and Kevin Dax lay out in sexually stimulating honesty their cyperspace meeting via e-mail correspondence and their eventual slide into San Francisco's gay underground where safe sex (in a city devastated in the first of the two decades of AIDS) is moot, and participants basically take their chances playing Russian Roulette. That darker side of gay sex takes us back to old haunts some of us abandoned out of fear of anonymous and unprotected sex - in parks, bathhouses, sex clubs, et al. Along their way, Beckford and Dax come across an assortment of characters, from out-and-out flaming queens to the downrodden and weary non-queens who thirst for gay sex and risk literally all to get it. Bigg Fan
The best, indeed.Gay erotica has reached the next level with this 10th anniversary edition.2005 offers the best stories in the genre I've ever read.Handsomely packaged and pure pleasure, I had to reread the last story, "The Bigg Mitkowski" by Davem Verne, a favorite author.Won't someone agree that the bigg narrator belongs on the bigg screen?What an ending!

Pure fantasy
Not all ideas are good ones, take this book for example - the premise is pure fantasy.So why not write an erotic short story for one of the national pubs, instead they turned it into twenty dollar book that fits right into my fire place.
